Dazzling darning sampler worked by Amsterdam girl Hermijntje Schouten in 1799. The six separate (damask-) darns were each neatly hemmed and connected by needlelace. Only few samplers like these are known, all deriving from Amsterdam. Size: 36 x 25 cm. Price: Upon request please.

Immetje Claesdochter 1662

A important and very rare whitework sampler made by Immetje Claes, 'out dertien jaer' in 1662 in Broek in Waterland.
