An very attractive Danish sampler made by KCDV (?) in 1757.
Extremely finely worked, mostly in petit point with silk on linen. The sampler has an incredible detail. The 1748 date in the middle might indicate that the girl was only nine years old!
Size: 39 x 43 cm, incl. frame. Conservation framed.
In a very good condition. Good colors.
