Swiss sampler c.1840 A very fine Swiss or South German sampler worked by Josepha Maijerle, circa 1840. Some stains, some fading of some colors and two minor repairs. Beautiful piece! Three samplers 1799-1800 Gorgeous set of three German possibly Hamburg samplers worked very finely by MES in 1799-1800.The buttonhole sampler is just 12 x 13 cm.
