Dutch 17th C. band sampler A rare and early Dutch sampler worked with pulled- and drawnwork (and needleweaving) techniques. Possibly Waterland, circa 1660. This type of work is often attributed to the Isle of Marken. Incl. family mark and picots all around. Size: 19 x 44 cm. Price: Upon request please.	Waterland sampler 17th c. At the bottom, the girl worked in red a small family mark. In times gone by these signs were applied to identify all kinds of (household-) possessions.
Three samplers 1799-1800 Gorgeous set of three German possibly Hamburg samplers worked very finely by MES in 1799-1800.The buttonhole sampler is just 12 x 13 cm. The needlelace sampler with white hearts is sized 25 x 10 cm. Silk and linen on linen. Early Friesland sampler (photo I) A very rare and early Frisian alphabet and band sampler, circa 1650. With numerous patterns. Size 34 x 101 cm. Picots and hemmed on three sides. See further photo's. One mitten circa 1725 A small woman's mitten, very finely worked with yellow silk in backstitch for the raised effect. Possibly England, circa 1725. Size: 10 x18 cm. Price: 450,- euro. Pulled thread sampler 1811 A very fine and skillful possibly Danish sampler worked by GDB in 1811. Sixteen blocks of pulled thread all within dainty borders. Fine linen and cotton.
